The Opportunity

Accounts Administrator required for busy multinational company. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Dublin Accounts Assistant is responsible for the day to day, preparation and posting of intercompany sales invoices, purchase invoices, filing, reconciling expense claims, and dealing with general supplier queries in addition to adhoc analysis work. The ideal person will require a good working knowledge of Finance and general ledger activity. This is a junior role with plenty of scope to grow and learn new skills.   This would suit some one who has accounts payable /accounts receivable / general ledger experience.

The Role

Supporting the Finance Team, the individual will be expected to assist with day to day tasks within the areas of:

  • Preparing of invoices for entry (250-300 approx. per month)
  • Good knowledge of RCT and VAT
  • Intercompany sales invoices
  • Entry of intercompany receipts
  • Checking/validation the correctness of Expenses invoices
  • Filing
  • Purchase order matching
  • Respond to settlement enquiries from European clients
  • Creditor Reconciliations

Candidate Profile / Experience

  • Very accurate, meticulous and organised
  • Strong Excel skills as the level required will be to do detailed analysis using Pivot tables
  • Dedicated individual where commitment is required to meet the period end deadlines
  • Excellent at problem solving and organisational skills
