The Opportunity

Governance & Legal Assistant

Our client, a leading multinational financial services company have an exciting opportunity for a legal or business graduate to join the team.

Reporting jointly to the two heads of function and support both parties and the Legal Department with ad hoc duties as required

The Role

  • Diary Management for two heads of function – booking meetings and calls; confirming meetings and noting important dates in diary as requested;
  • Liaising with Board of Director’s, Service Providers, Committee Members Department Heads, Function Heads and other staff;
  • Attending Committee Meetings;
  • Drafting minutes of Committee Meetings;
  • Up-dating internal logs;
  • Creating meeting Agendas;
  • Preparing papers and presentations for meetings;
  • Collation and distribution of Committee Packs;
  • Writing reports and executive summaries;
  • Preparation of spreadsheets for internal reporting;
  • Assisting with corporate governance matters;
  • Ad hoc projects as and when they arise.

Candidate Profile / Experience

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Have a relevant Business or Legal Degree.
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
